The Normandy is a pocket album for 4x6 prints, made by Pioneer in Chatsworth, California since 1972. At 208 prints, it sits in the middle of the range: enough for a long trip, a school year, or the first chapter of a baby's life, without becoming a project to finish. The cover is leatherette, and the album feels like a small bound book, the kind you leave on a coffee table and pick up again.

Two 4x6 prints fit on each page in clear pockets over a black mesh background, which keeps the focus on the photograph. The pages are photo-safe: acid-free, lignin-free, and PVC-free, so nothing touches the print but the clear pocket.
