About this refill

These extenders add height to a post-bound album or scrapbook that has run out of room. They thread between the existing screw posts and the covers, so the spine takes more pages without losing its closure. Useful hardware once a photograph collection has grown beyond the album it started in, or when a thicker refill needs to fit on the post.

The set from Pioneer includes four metal pairs, one for each post on a standard album. Each pair has a male and a female end that screw together to bridge the gap between the covers. Made in the US, the metal threads onto the existing post in a few turns, and the album still lies flat when open.
